The Influence of Mechanical Deformations on Surface Force Measurements

Surface Force Balance (SFB) experiments have been performed in a dry atmosphere and across an ionic liquid, combining the analysis of surface interactions deformations, illustrate that mechanical deformations surfaces important consequences for force measurements.
